FLAG OFFICER ASSIGNMENT
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced the following flag officer assignment:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half)(selectee) Deborah A. Loewer is being assigned as deputy commander, Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C. Loewer is currently serving as director of the White House Situation Room, National Security Council, Washington, D.C.
