DOD IDENTIFIES ARMY CASUALTY
The Department of Defense announced today the name of a soldier killed Thursday as he investigated the wreckage of an Iraqi T-72 tank destroyed by his unit in central Iraq.
Capt. Edward J. Korn, 31, of Savannah, Ga., was assigned to the 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
The incident remains under investigation.
