GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Brian L. Tarbet has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Tarbet is currently serving as the adjutant general, Headquarters Utah State Area Command, Draper, Utah.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Barbara C. Brannon has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general with continued service as chief of the Air Force Nurse Corps, Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
