Army Brig. Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, assistant division commander (maneuver), 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized), Fort Stewart, Ga., to commanding general, 10th Mountain Division (Light) and Fort Drum, Fort Drum, N.Y., with a report date to be determined.
Army Brig. Gen. William H. Brandenburg, deputy commanding general for training and readiness, I Corps and Fort Lewis, Fort Lewis, Wash., to deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, with a report date to be determined.
Army Brig. Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, program manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard Modernization Program, Saudi Arabia, to commanding general, 1st Armored Division, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany, with a report date to be determined.
Army Brig. Gen. Benjamin C. Freakley, assistant division commander (operations), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky., to commanding general, U.S. Army Infantry Center, and commandant, U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga., with a report date to be determined.
