GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki announced today the following assignment:
Maj. Gen. Virgil L. Packett II, assistant chief of staff for operations, Regional Command South, Italy, to commander, Stabilization Force, Operation Joint Forge, Sarajevo, with a report date to be determined.
