GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Major General Eugene D. Santarelli, United States Air Force, for
appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as Vice
Commander, Pacific Air Forces, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Major General
Santarelli is currently assigned as Director, Operations, Headquarters Pacific
Air Forces, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
General Santarelli was born August 14, 1944, in Canton, Ohio.
