GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lieutenant General Carl G. O'Berry, United States Air Force, for
advancement on the retired list in the grade of lieutenant general. Lieutenant
General O'Berry is currently assigned as Deputy Chief of Staff, Command,
Control, Communications and Computers (C4), Headquarters United States Air
Force, Pentagon, Washington, DC.
General O'Berry was born April 11, 1936, in Lansing, Michigan.
