Flag Officer Assignments
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced the following flag officer assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Patrick W. Dunne is being assigned as superintendent, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif. Dunne is currently assigned as commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Marianas/Pacific Command Representative, Guam.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) (selectee) Gary A. Engle is being assigned as commander, Pacific Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Engle is currently assigned as chief of staff, First Naval Construction Division, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk, Va.
