Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated Air Force Brig. Gen. William L. Shelton for appointment to the rank of major general with continued service as director, Policy Resources and Requirements, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Capt. Robert F. Burt has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). Burt is currently serving as chaplain to the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Navy Capt. Adam M. Robinson, Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). Robinson is currently serving as commanding officer, Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan.
