DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today that Pfc. Steven Acosta, 19, of Calexico, Calif., died on Oct. 26 in Baqubah, Iraq. Acosta died from a non-hostile gunshot wound.
Acosta was assigned to C Company, 3rd Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
The incident is under investigation.
