DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Rachel K. Bosveld, 19, of Waupun, Wis., was killed Oct. 26 in Abu Ghraib, Iraq. Bosveld was fatally injured during a mortar attack on the Abu Ghraib Police Station.
Bosveld was assigned to the 527th Military Police Company, V Corps, Giesen, Germany.
The incident is under investigation.
