General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated:
Maj. Gen. John M. Curran, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as the Director, Futures Center, Unite States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Virginia. He is currently serving as the Commanding General, United States Army Aviation Center and Fort Rucker, Fort Rucker, Alabama.
