DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Timothy L. Hayslett, 26, of Newville, Pa., was killed on Nov. 15 in Baghdad, Iraq. Hayslett was conducting a patrol when struck by an improvised explosive device. He died of his injuries. Hayslett was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Division, based in Friedberg, Germany.
The incident is under investigation.
