DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

 

Pfc. Charles E. Bush Jr., 43, of Buffalo, N.Y., was killed on Dec. 19 in Balad, Iraq.  Bush was in a convoy when his vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device.  Bush was assigned to the 402nd Civil Affairs Battalion, 354th Civil Affairs Brigade, 352nd Civil Affairs Command, U.S. Army Reserve, based in Riverdale Park, Md.

 

The incident is under investigation.
