Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced today the following flag officer assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) William D. Crowder is being assigned as commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Three (Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group), Everett, Wash. Crowder is currently serving as director, Naval Operations Group, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) David A. Gove is being assigned as director, Naval Operations Group, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va. Gove is currently serving as deputy director for global operations, J3, Joint Staff, Arlington, Va.
