The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. Felix M. Delgreco, 22, of Simsbury, Conn., died April 9, in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive devise and small arms fire struck his mounted patrol. Sgt. Delgreco was assigned the Army National Guards 1^{st Battalion, 102nd Infantry, New Haven, Conn.}
