DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Marvin A. Camposiles, 25, of Austell, Ga., died April 17, in Samarra, Iraq, when he was electrocuted while performing routine generator maintenance. Spc. Camposiles was assigned to the Armys 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.

The incident is under investigation.
