GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lt. Gen. Kenneth A. Minihan, United States Air Force, for
reappointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as director,
National Security Agency/chief, Central Security Service, Fort Meade, Md.
Minihan is currently assigned as the director, Defense Intelligence Agency,
Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Minihan was born Dec. 31, 1943, in Pampa, Texas.
