DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Kendall Thomas, 36, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, died April 28 in Baghdad, Iraq, as the result of a vehicle accident. Thomas was assigned to Battery C, 3rd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
The incident is under investigation.
