DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Michael A. Mora, 19, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., died May 14 in An Najaf, Iraq, when his military vehicle slid off the road and turned over. Mora was assigned to the Armys 3rd Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Polk, La.
The incident is under investigation.
