DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Jamie A. Gray, 29, of Montpelier, Vt. died June 7in Scania, Iraq, when his military vehicle hit an improvised explosive device. Gray was assigned to Army National Guards Headquarters, Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 86th Field Artillery, Williston, Vt.
The incidentis under investigation.
