DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Thai Vue, 22, of Willows, Calif., died June 18 in Baghdad, Iraq, when a mortar round hit the motor pool where he was working. Vue was assigned to the Armys 127th Military Police Company, 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, V Corps, Hanau, Germany.
The incident is under investigation.
