Flag Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Adm. James E. McPherson, Judge Advocate General's Corps, for appointment as Judge Advocate General of the Navy. McPherson is currently serving as Deputy Judge Advocate General of the Navy, Washington, D.C.
Navy Capt. Bruce E. MacDonald, Judge Advocate Generals Corps, for appointment as Deputy Judge Advocate General of the Navy and appointment to the grade of rear admiral. MacDonald is currently serving as Legal Counsel to the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
