The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Luis A. Perez, 19, of Theresa, N.Y., died Aug. 27 in Fallujah, Iraq, when his convoy vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Perez was assigned to the Army Reserves 223rd Transportation Company, Norristown, Pa.
