DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Robert Oliver Unruh, 25, of Tucson, Ariz., died Sept. 25 in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, when enemy forces using small arms fire attacked his unit. Unruh was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, Camp Howze, Korea.

The incident is under investigation.
