The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Dennis J. Boles, 46, of Homosassa, Fla., died Oct. 24 in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, when he was participating in a 10-mile road march and collapsed. Boles was assigned to the Army National Guard's 171st Aviation Battalion, Brooksville, Fla.
The incident is under investigation.
