Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Donna L. Dacier for promotion to the rank of major general. Dacier is currently serving as the commander, 311th Theater Signal Command, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq.
Army Reserve Col. Charles K. Ebner for promotion to the rank of brigadier general. Ebner is currently serving as the deputy commander, 63d Regional Readiness Command, Los Alamitos, Calif.
