DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Cpl. Joshua D. Palmer, 24, of Blandinsville, Ill., died Nov. 8 as a result of a non-hostile vehicle incident in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserves 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Force Service Support Group, headquartered in Portland, Ore.
