DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. Catalin D. Dima, 36, of White Lake, N.Y., died Nov. 13 in Baghdad, Iraq, when enemy mortar fire landed near his position. Dima was assigned to the Army Reserves 411th Engineer Brigade, New Windsor, N.Y.
