DoD Identifies Army Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died Nov. 29 in Baghdad, Iraq, when their military vehicle struck an improvised explosive device. Both were assigned to the Army National Guards 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, New York, N.Y.

 

Killed were:

 

Sgt. Christian P. Engeldrum, 39, of Bronx, N.Y.

 

Pfc. Wilfredo F. Urbina, 29, of Baldwin, N.Y.
