GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
President Clinton has nominated Major General Carol A. Mutter, United States
Marine Corps, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment
as Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. Since May 1994, she
has served as the Commander, Marine Corps Systems Command.
Major General Mutter was born on December 17, 1945, in Greely, Colorado.
