The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Chief Joel Egan Baldwin, 37, of Arlington, Va., died in Mosul, Iraq on Dec. 21, when the dining facility was attacked.
Baldwin was assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 7, Gulfport, Miss.
