The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Kevin M. Luna, 26, of Oxnard, Calif., died Jan. 27 in Muqdadiyah, Iraq, from non-combat related injuries. Luna was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany.
This incident is under investigation.
