Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Air Force Col. James J. Dougherty III has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general while serving as the command surgeon and director of medical services and training, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
Air Force Col. Patricia C. Lewis has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general while serving as the commander, Air Force Medical Service Agency, Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.
