Michael W. Wynne, under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, and Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will brief on environmental issues at the Joint Services Environmental Management (JSEM) Conference. The event will take place Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in Room 3 of the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, Fla., at 10:05 a.m. EDT.
Following the Bush/Wynne media availability, the Department of Defense will conduct a media roundtable in Room 3 of the Tampa Convention Center at 10:15 a.m. Participating will be Paul W. Mayberry, deputy under secretaryof defense for readiness;Alex Beehler, assistant deputy under secretary of defense for environment, safety and occupational health; Maureen Koetz, principal deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force for installations, environment and logistics, Donald Schregardus, deputy under secretary of the Navy for environment; Jan Reitman, Defense Logistics Agency staff director for environment, safety and occupational health; and Mollie Palmer, deputy chief of staff for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
