General Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:

 

Army Col. Donald M. Bradshaw has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Bradshaw is currently serving as commander, United States Army Medical Department Activity, Fort Benning, Ga.

 

Army Col. James K. Gilman has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Gilman is currently serving as commander, Walter Reed Health Care System, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

 

Army Col. David A. Rubenstein has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Rubenstein is currently serving as commander, 30th Medical Brigade, United States Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.

 

Army Col. Philip Volpe has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Volpe is currently serving as assistant surgeon general for force projection, Office of The Surgeon General, Washington, D.C.
