Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Robert J. Kasulke has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Kasulke is currently serving as deputy surgeon, Mobilization, Readiness and Reserve Affairs, Office of The Surgeon General, Falls Church, Va.
Army Reserve Col. Stanley L. K. Flemming has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Flemming is currently serving as commander, 8th Medical Brigade, Staten Island, N.Y.
