The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Christopher W. Dickison, 26, of Seattle, Wa., died July 5, in Baqubah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol. Dickison was assigned to the Army's 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.
