Flag Officer Assignment

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced the following flag officer assignment:

 

Rear Adm. (selectee) William R. Burke is being assigned commander, Logistics Group, Western Pacific/Commander, Task Force 73/commander, Task Force 712, Singapore. Burke is currently executive assistant to the vice chief of naval operations, Washington, D.C.
