Flag Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Capt. Frank Thorp IV for appointment to the grade of rear admiral (lower half).

 

Thorp is currently serving as special assistant to the chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff for Public Affairs, Washington, D.C.
