General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announces that the President has nominated:
Maj. Gen. Keith W. Dayton, U.S. Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as the United States Security Coordinator (USSC) Israel-Palestinian Authority. He is currently serving as director of strategy, plans and policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.
