General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Frances C. Wilson, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and for appointment as the president, National Defense University. Wilson is currently serving as the commandant, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Washington, D.C.
