Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald R. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Robert F. Burt for appointment as Chief of Chaplains and appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Burt is currently serving as Chaplain of the Marine Corps/Deputy Chief of Chaplains/Deputy Director of Religious Ministries, N097B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Thomas R. Cullison has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Cullison is currently serving as Commander, Navy Medicine East/Commander, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Va. |
