GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that
the President has nominated Lt. Gen. Charles T. Robertson Jr.,
United States Air Force, for reappointment to the grade of
lieutenant general with assignment as commander, 15th Air Force,
and director, 15th Air Force Air Combat Operations Staff, Air
Mobility Command, Travis AFB, California. Robertson is currently
assigned as the vice commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB,
Ill.
Robertson was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Pineville, N. C.
