General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. James. G. Roudebush for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as surgeon general of the Air Force, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Roudebush is currently serving as deputy surgeon general, Headquarters United States Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.
