Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. William D. Sullivan for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as U.S. Military Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Military Committee, Brussels, Belgium. Sullivan is currently serving as vice director, J5, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
