General Officer Assignment
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Richard F. Natonski for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as the deputy commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations. Natonski is currently serving as the commanding general, 1st Marine Division (rein) Camp Pendleton, Calif. |
