DoD Identifies Army Casualty

     The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

     Pfc. James J. Arellano, 19, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died on Aug 17 in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when his patrol encountered enemy forces using improvised explosive devices and small arms fire.  Arellano was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
