DoD Identifies Army Casualty

     The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

     Sgt. Jeremy E. DePottey, 26, of Ironwood, Mich., died on Sept. 11 in Asadabad, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in a single vehicle accident. DePottey was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.

     The incident is under investigation.
