General Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Army Gen. Dan K. McNeill has been nominated for re-appointment to the grade of general and, in consultation with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, assignment as the commander, International Security Assistance Force. McNeill is currently serving as the commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga.
